Split a bill with friends or a group. wym keeps the record of who owes who; it does not move money.

  • Equal. Everyone pays the same share.
  • Items. Tap the people who shared each item.
  • Exact. Enter what each person owes.

Is wym free?

Yes. wym is free to download and use. An optional king subscription adds smarter suggestions for payments found in Gmail, your complete history, and themes and app icons. Billing is handled by Apple and you can cancel any time.

Do I have to connect my bank?

No. wym never asks for a bank login. You log purchases yourself, or let an Apple Pay Shortcut send them to wym. The optional Gmail import finds payment emails for you to approve.

How does Apple Pay logging work?

You set up a Shortcut once from inside the app. After you pay, it hands the amount and merchant to wym. wym picks a category and logs the purchase. If it is not sure, it keeps the purchase for you to review.

Do my friends need wym to split a bill?

No. Add them as guests. Friends who do have wym see the split in their own app.

Does it work when I travel?

Yes. Turn on travel mode to log in the local currency while your totals stay in your home currency.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Account deletion is in the app under Profile, in data management. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription, which is managed by Apple.
